Run Crew Free Training Runs

The Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run is proud to partner with Run Crew for 2019.

Run Crew offers specific, personalised coaching for runners of all levels, ages and abilities.

Ben St Lawrence and Gary ‘Tiger’ Howard teamed up to form Run Crew to help runners improve their health, have fun and achieve their running goals.

As the Australian 10km record holder (27:24:95), dual Olympian and twice City2Surf winner (2010 & 2018), Ben brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and extensive experience as an elite athlete. His psychology degree also gives runners an edge in mental preparation.

As an experienced massage therapist, Gary has developed an understanding and eye for biomechanics that helps runners improve efficiency and minimise risk of injury. He is currently squeezing his running between his commitments as a coach, massage therapist and a father of two young boys. He continues to compete at 800m (he is a World Masters silver medalist), still running sub 2:00 as a 44-year-old.
